United States of America had new state in the year 1819 and the name was Alabama. The flag of Alabama was endorsed, and adopted by the state government on February 16, 1895. There are two colors in the flag of Alabama white and red. The flag of Alabama has crimson Red Cross of St. Andrew against a white background. The Red Cross extends diagonally from one corner to another. Initially there was an argument about the shape of the flag. It has been assumed that the shape of Alabama’s flag is square the later in 1987, it was concluded that the proper shape is rectangle.
