Flags of
Albania
Flag of Albania depicts a two headed eagle on a red background, the two headed eagle is black in color.
The Albanian flag is unique because not many countries use this color combination for their flags.
Flag of Albania has been changed many times, with each new regime, though most of the flag remained the same.
Some added yellow stars or rims to the flag which were later removed.
Albania also has an alternative Albanian flag, red with a black stripe in between, thus making two red horizontal stripes with a black horizontal stripe in between. Present Albanian flag was accepted in the year 1992. Albanian flag denotes changes every time there was change in leadership of the country, however, none of the leaders attempted to change the original colors of the Albanian flag.
Some leadership of Albania, chose to add borders to the present two headed eagle by giving it a look like an emblem.Whereas another put a star on the emblem, adding its unique character to flag.
However, this too has been removed by present leadership. The present flag of Albania has been formally accepted throughout the world as the only Albanian flag. |
