Flags of Colorado

The state of Colorado entered in the structure of the USA on the 1 August 1876, becoming the 38th state on an account. The flag of Colorado was accepted in 1911. In 1911 year the state of Colorado adopted a law about its Colorado flag. The red letter of “С” designates “Colorado”, that in a translation from Spanish, means “red colour”. Gold ball inwardly “С” talks about the presence of gold mines in the state. And blue and white strips on the flag symbolize blue skies and white snows of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

On the coat of arms of the state, which was officially accepted in 1877, a three-cornered figure symbolizes the all-seeing eye of God. Also on the coat of arms the mountains of the state, earth and pick are represented, which symbolize a mining industry of Colorado – the basis of the economy of the state. Colorado is a state, famous for the shocking natural landscapes of the Rocky Mountain.
