Flags of Czech Republic

The flag of Czech Republic is composed of three colors namely: blue, white and red. There is a blue triangle which is in horizontal position located at the left side of the flag. There are two horizontal stripes that can be found on the flag, the top is a white stripe and red stripe located below. Czech Republic Flag does not have any symbolic meanings attached to the design of the blue triangle with white and red stripes. What it suggests is that these three colors where of Bohemian tradition. As to the design of the flag when it comes to its pattern and color used these were just selected in order to have a flag of Czech Republic that is very easy to recognize by people and especially when it comes to battle.

The flag of Czech Republic is similar to that of Czechoslovakia. On March 30, 1920, the original Czech Republic flag was formally adopted. But it was on March 17, 1992 that the flag was officially adopted by Czech Republic on her own initiative. They went against the agreement that they would not adopt any emblems of the former Czechoslovakia. It was on January 1, 1993, that Czech Republic separated paths with Slovakia.
