Florida is the land of sun and sea and much loved by all the people in USA, Florida flag was officially adopted on 6th of November in 1900, however there were changes done to the Florida flag over the years and the latest flag has been changed in 1985, flag of state of Florida has a white base, it also has a cross diagonally placed on the centre which runs through the flag.
Florida flag was inspired by the cross on which an ardent disciple of Jesus was crucified which was similarly shaped. Flag of Florida also represents the land which shows sun and shine with flora and fauna of the place. Florida state seal actually came into being in the year 1868, the seal too, has been subjected to some change or the other. State of Florida was actually inducted in the USA on 3rd of March 1845. |
