Flags of Guiana

As the overseas department of France, French Guiana does not have a state flag. There is a flag of the region of Guiana, but the official flag of Guiana is French Flag. Being a part of France, French Guiana is the largest part of the European Union, located not on an island out of the limits of Europe. The French president appoints a prefect, which carries out a management of the department. French Guiana has one representative in the National Assembly — a parliament of France. The unique evident character, officially fastened in the Constitution, is a three-colour flag, consisting of blue, white and red vertical bars, located in the transferred sequence. First appearing in 1789, related to the revolutionary, and then to the emperor's France, it was resolutely rejected and transferable on white in 1814–1830. Revolution of 1830, named July, finally returned tricolour and again did its official.
