Iowa is a north central state of United States of America. It is between the forests of east and grasslands of the high prairie plains to the west. It’s neighboring countries are Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois .It has some of the most fertile top soil in world .The flag of Iowa was designed by daughters of the American Revolution. The design consists of three vertical stripes of blue, white and red. The colors are in the order blue, white and red from left to right. The middle white stripe is bigger than the two stripes on its either side.

A spreading eagle’s picture is formed in the middle white stripe. The eagle holds a banner with its beak with a phrase “our liberties we prize and our rights we will maintain” written on it. Iowa is another American State that form the 50 states of United States of America, Iowa is also called the ‘Hawkeye State’, the state has been named after the Indian tribes that used to primarily stay there.
