Cote D'Ivoire or Ivory Coast Flag is composed of three colors namely: orange, white and green.The design is simple: three vertical stripes with the same length and size. The presidency of Republic of Ivory Coast state the meaning of the colors used in the flag. The color orange symbolizes the color of the country's land, which is rich and generous, the serves as the meaning for our fight. the blood being shed by the young people for fighting due to emancipation. The white color signifies peace being associated with justice. Green represents hope and as well as the hope for a brighter future.

The flag of Ivory Coast was being adopted on December 4, 1959. The design of the flag of Ivory Coast was based on the flag of France. Right after the flag was being adopted, on August 7, 1960, Ivory Coast was not under the control and power of France.
