Flags of Missouri

The state of Missouri is located in the flow of the rivers Missouri and Mississippi. The territory of Missouri was received by the United States from France in the composition of the province Louisiana in 1803. Officially the state entered in the complement of federation on 10August 1821. Presently the fourth in history constitution of the state, accepted in 1945, operates in Missouri. The city of Kansas is a large railway knot. There are two large international airports on the state; a few motorways pass through this territory.

The flag of the state consists of three horizontal strips – red, white and dark blue. In the centre of the flag there is a state seal. Two bears grizzly hold the seal from the both sizes in their paws. Around them there is a dark blue circle with white stars in it, which correspond to the states of the Union. The seal carry the inscription: "United We Stand, Divided we Fall", which is the motto of the state. In the seal there is a new moon, which presents the new state, the grizzly bear – a symbol of courage and boldness and a symbol of United States of America. Above the seal there are other 24 stars, which are also the symbol of the states.
