The flag of the state is with tradition for the most of the states dark blue colour. On the centre of the dark blue background a landscape in the form of circle is placed. This landscape is also a state seal – a green field with a plough, a shovel and a pick in it. Behind them there is a view of forests, mountain picks – the natural treasure of the state. There is also Missouri river with its Great falls under a beautiful sunrise. Above the seal with golden letters is located the name of the state: “Montana”. On the state seal there is also a band with the words: “Gold and Silver” which is the motto of the state.
