Flags of Montenegro

Montenegro flag is one of the brightest colored flags in all over the world, the unique color combination and designing of the flag makes Montenegro flag very attractive. The Montenegro flag has yellow colored bordering making it match with the inner red color, the flag contains all the signs of King Nicholas, who ruled Montenegro. Coat of arms of Montenegro are included in the middle of the red portion of the flag, it contains two eagles back to back with their tongue out, on their heads is the crown of the King of the country, there is also a shield with a lion. Each of the eagles are holding signs of religion and beliefs in their feet.

Montenegro flag is not in use after it united with Serbia to form Serbia and Montenegro. However, Montenegro flag is the only one to have a vertical version of the flag. There were different flags used with same detailing, some of the flags used golden fringe color instead of golden border what is in use today, however the basic design of the flag remained the same. Montenegro flag was used all over the region and is still being used by people of the state.
