Flags of New Hampshire

New Hampshire was the 9th State to be inducted in the United States of American and the New Hampshire flag is designed in a way to show it. The flag base is blue in color and in the centre are wreaths in round shape and yellow in color. The flag also depicts a ship in the middle of the wreath, ships are important in this state because of the shipbuilding industry that exists in New Hampshire. New Hampshire flag also shows, a ship named the Raleigh, this was the first ship that was commissioned by the US Navy. New Hampshire flag also depicts the ship showing the United States flag on its stern.

The State of New Hampshire was officiated in the year 1788, though the original seal and flag were actually originated in the year 1784, there were changes later brought to it in the year 1931. New Hampshire state flag also has the granite stone shown in the foreground of the flag, this is because the state is also called as the ‘granite state’, and the people of this state are called the Granite people. New Hampshire, was one of the early states to join in for formation of the United States of America.
