Flags of Ohio

Ohio is located in the Northeastern part of the United States of America. Its neighboring countries are Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky. The major rivers of Ohio are Ohio River, Cuyahoga River, Miami River, and Sandusky River. The geographical regions of Ohio are of four types, the Till Plains, the Appalachian Plateau and the Bluegrass Region. The flag of Ohio can be pictorially describes as it has three colors in it red, white, and blue. The shape of the flag is pennant. It is designed after a curl war cavalry.

It is having three red and two white horizontal stripes. It also has seventeen five cornered white stars in the blue triangular background. The stars are grouped around a white circular “O” and a red circular disc is present in the “O”. The seventeen stars in the flag represent Ohio as the 17th state and the 13 stars surrounding the circular white symbolically represent 13 colonies. Stripes on the flag represent the roads and waterways.
