Flags of South Dakota

Mount Rushmore is famous all over the world because of the sculpted faces of four of former American presidents on the mountain. This is one of the world’s largest man-made sculptures, and therefore it is no wonder that the state of Mount Rushmore should be proud enough of this monument and make a mention of it on its flag, the flag of South Dakota does just this, the background color is blue in color and the emblem of the state is inside a yellow sun. Around the sun there is a circle which mentions ‘South Dakota Mount Rushmore State’ in yellow colors.
