It’s coastline is formed by black sea, Mediterranean sea, Aegean sea. The part of turkey in Europe is called as Thrace. The part of turkey in Asia is called Asia Minor. Turkey is very rich in natural resources like coal, iron ore, copper, chromium etc. it is subjected to natural hazards like earth quakes.

The flag of turkey can be described as, it has a red background with a white crescent and a white star on the flag. The flag of turkey was officially endorsed on June 5,1936.there are many meanings for Turkish flag. The star and crescent on the flag represents Islam. The red color has been used to refer back to the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century. The flag also refers back to kosovo war and it is also said that it represents the dream of the first Ottoman Empire.
