Flag of United States consists of stars and stripes, all stars in the flag stand for each state in the country of United States of America. United States flag is red and blue in color, on the left hand upper corner is the blue rectangle consisting of white stars whereas rest of the flag consists of red stripes horizontally placed.
The background of the flag of United States of America is white. The flag is displayed on all buildings of government importance. United States flag depicts equal importance to all states that form the country. All states of America were not one country, however after the civil war all states came together to form the United States of America.
However, each state has been provided independence to possess its own flag to protect its unique identity. Therefore, all states have a separate flag of their own and they depict the specialty of the state or the beliefs of state in one way or other, Americans are as proud of their unique State as they are of the complete country. This is the reason why United States treats each State equally important and has allowed each State a presence on its national flag. |
