The state of Utah is also called the “Beehive State and it is rightly depicted on the Utah flag, the Utah flag is a mixture of loyalty and meaning of what the state stands for. In the middle of the Utah flag is beehive which is a symbol of hard working community and the industry that is available in the State. On Utah flag there are also flowers of sago lily, which stands for peace. Background color of the flag is blue and the state seal is within the yellow circle at the center of the flag. Utah flag also depicts a bald eagle with spread wings above the beehive and the flowers as if guarding, this depicts the country that protects the state in case of trying times, namely the United States, the flag also has the flag of United States on both sides of the emblem, this is to depict loyalty of the state of Utah to USA.

The flag of Utah was officially adopted in year 1913, among all states Utah ranks 45 number in joining the USA. Though the flag was adopted much later the state seal has been official since the year 1896
