The flag of Venezuela is founded on 7 February 1954. It is a civil flag without the coat of arms. The Flag of Venezuela with yellow, dark blue and red strips of equal width has been entered in 1836 and it has undergone some modifications since that time in the coat of arms and in the arrangement of stars. Seven stars represent seven provinces, which have begun a struggle for independence.
Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is a state in South America. In the north it is washed by the Caribbean Sea, on a land it borders with Colombia in the West and a southwest, with Brazil in the south and a southeast and with Guyana in the east. The most part of the population of the country is Venezuelan - a mix of Europeans, Negroes and Creoles - a heritage of the colonial epoch. Venezuela is a very young nation - not only because it was generated rather recently, but also because more than a half of the population are younger than 24 years. |
