The African continent is considered to be the cradle of civilization as it thought to be the oldest inhabited region on the world map.
The Egyptian civilization which developed along the River Nile is considered to be one of the oldest and most advanced civilizations in the ancient world. Africa is visibly the second largest continent on all maps being second only to Asia in land area.
