Algeria, officially known as the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, ranks second largest on the map of Africa. With Tunisia bordering the northeast, Libya the east, Niger the southeast, Mauritania and Mali the southwest and western Sahara and Morocco the west, Algeria map has hilly and mountainous coasts flecked with a handful number of natural harbors.
Going south from the coastal one finds fertile area named Tell Atlas, south of which are the desert of Sahara and the Atlas mountain range.
Vandalized by prolonged succession of wars has deprived this country from providing proper tourism facilities to its tourists requiring them be very conscious about their tour & travel and its details failing which might even lead to dangerous consequences like getting lost without a map or unknowingly heading into precarious places.
