Bangladesh
The history of Bangladesh maps has been a very varied one with lots of turmoil and peace times.
The country embraced Islam in the 13th century and was ruled mostly after than by Muslim rulers.
The country was divided into India and Pakistan in the year 1947 and hence called the East Pakistan. In the year 1971 the country was liberated from Pakistan and it formed an independent nation. The country has since then been a democracy, but has been going through a lot of instability and civil unrest.
Bangladesh shares its border with India and the map of Bangladesh is almost covered from all sides by India except for the south, where it touches the Bay of Bengal. The country gets a lot of rainfall and hence boasts of a rich ecosystem.
Four large rivers flow through the country and this makes the country very fertile and bountiful. The economy still survives on fishing and agriculture.
Bangladesh travel destination has many facets. The Bangladesh tourism includes monuments, resorts, beaches, forest and wildlife. The country is rich in eco tourism and boasts of a wide variety of natural habitats.
It being in the Indian subcontinent one can witness cultural similarities from India and Pakistan.
There are many interesting tourist spots in Bangladesh such as bogra, Chittagong, Cox’s bazaar, Mainamati that exudes the Buddhist culture which is situated eight kilometers west of town comilla and rangamati hills that is rich in flora and fauna.
The scenic splendor of Rangamati takes the visitors to a complete trance and be completely one with nature.
