Illinois is the one of the largest and fifth most populated State as per the Map of Illinois. It was the 21st state to be added to the union. The existing history for this large state dates back to 1300 AD, when it had the population of 40000 residents, making it the largest State. At the time of the great American Revolution, some 2000 Native American residents and few French villagers settled in this region.

As far as tourism in Illinois is concerned, some of the most tourist-visited places are ice-skating in Millennium Park, Ader Planetarium, Centennial Fountain and Historical Society Museum.
