Qatar is a small country in Middle East Asia. It’s situated in the Persian Gulf according to the map of Qatar.

There are very few natural water resources. The country is rich in oil and natural gas which forms the basis of its economic wealth.

There are few native Qatari’s. Most people come from Egypt and other South East Asian countries to work in its industries. The revenue from oil and natural gas has helped it to become one of the richest countries in the world.

Qatari’s have a high standard of living with the state providing for free health, education and health services for all its citizens.The country started issuing tourist visas only in 1989.

But since then the tourism industry in Qatar has grown by leaps and bounds. It has new hotel and ancient architecture to beckon the visitors. Go during the months of November to Late March as the temperatures in the summers can be deadening.

Travel destinations in Qatar are plenty. Visit Doha, Umm Salal Mohammed has a fort which is the reason of its existence. See camel racing in Al-Shhaniya. Al-Zubara is of prime importance as it used to be a big commercial trading centre.
