The capital of this region is Florence which is indicated in the map of Tuscany and the region is known for its beauty, landscape and historical architectural site. In fact the UNESCO has protected six Tuscan sites and ensures for there preservation and safe guarding, as mentioned on the map of Tuscany. The sites are of great historical value and attract many visitors every year from all parts of the world and Tuscany’s tourisms thrives as result of it.
Some of these sites are the Val d’Orcia, the historical center of Pienza, the historical center of San Gimignano, the historical center of Siena, the square of the Cathedral of Pisa and the historical center of Florence it’s self. According to the Tuscany travel statistics the number of individuals visiting the sites is increasing rapidly and is showing a sign of improving as time goes by and more people learn of these sites.
